What's happening this November? Your monthly round-up

It's November and we're really starting to feel that winter is round the corner! So wrap yourself up all cosy and go through our monthly guide to submission calls, events and cool zine things.
Our website was down last week as we moved some things around, so while we were fiddling we added some new additions to the online catalogue! There's still a lot yet to be added in the way of descriptions and links, so keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of weeks or so.
Another one from us - the call for submissions for our South Tyneside zine project was coming up next Friday, but has now been extended until December 10th! You can read more about that one here.

PopRecs and the Young People's Project are crowdfunding to run Sunderland's Teenage Market! This will be an amazing opportunity for young people and for the community, and we can't wait.
Drawn Poorly's 7th issue, Care, is available now and it looks wonderful.
We mentioned a couple from Coin-Operated Press last month and they have another one for you - submissions are open for their Nerd Zine until November 12th!
Boundaries Festival 2021 is coming at the end of the month - a two day programme of art and music in Sunderland City Centre.
Creative project Take Up Space have just released their first zine! They're newly formed from Manchester and we can't wait to see what they do next.

Sunderland Culture are running a new series of art and wellbeing workshops called Creative Me - free for 13-18 year olds at the Washington Arts Centre!
Last but not least, you only have a couple of days left to sign up to our Secret Santa zine swap! We'll be drawing names very soon, so get in there quick.
